Strain Review: Platinum Animal Cookies by Ideal Farms

Established in 2014, Ideal Farms is growing medical, and rec in a 5,000 square foot warehouse in SE Portland. Currently though, they are converting a campus in the farmland valley of Aurora, Oregon.
GENETICS
Genetics by Bay Exclusives Seed Co., Ideal Farms’ offering of Platinum Animal Cookies has made a very comfortable home in Portland cannabis scene by taking first place in 2015 at the Oregon Medical Cannabis and the 2015 Dope Cup! This cutting is the first all organic offering from Ideal farms, so you can expect an explosion of flavors! Animal Cookies is the child of the legendary hybrid cannabis strains Girls Scout Cookies and Fire OG. The Platinum title generally denotes a master grower has been involved. What does that mean to you and I? It means we like to call it, “that good good!”
THERAPEUTIC BENEFITS
This particular strain has many subtle effects that will be slightly different to each user, however, in general, most reviews have been reporting relief from pain, stress, migraines, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and a myriad of complex issues wrapped under the title of PTSD.
LOOKS
Very dense nugs (you should be grinding everything you smoke, but this one for sure), most of the greenery has been all but been covered up by dense forests of red hairs, and frosty trichomes. A closer inspection will reveal those sticky delicious trichomes in all their glory. Therein lies the true beauty of this flower!
AROMA
The sweetness gives gently away to earthy undertones and the aroma is inviting and pungent. The cure on this is perfect!
FLAVOR
The sweet earthy flavors are the highlight of this pungent strain. I cannot help but think of how the organic growing style has made such a difference in taste.
